The name says it all - this library is used to send simple e-mail messages. It supports very basic email messages, but is effective and easy to use. It can also be used with a custom mail handler to route the messages through. For example you can use a custom handler to store e-mail on the server and send only a number of new messages every minute (a mail queue).
